  1. Hi, my grandad was from Middlesbrough. His name was Vincent Hipple. He died in July 1945 Far East pow in Burma. He married Mary White, my Gran. They had two kids Edwin (my uncle) and Lucy (my mum). Uncle Eddie (Edwin) is still with us fit and well. Just wondering if these Canon Street Hipples are my relations? Seems quite likely as it looks like Vincent’s brother was called Edwin. My grandad seems to of named my uncle after his elder brother! Any info would be greatly appreciated. Regards Richard.
